05Safety & Trust · A structure, not a promise
Trust is earned by structure.
No system can guarantee safety. What a system can do is make good decisions easier to see, make escalation deliberate, and make every action accountable. That is what Orange Rides Network is designed for: safer, more informed transportation operations, with people responsible at every step.
01Safety architecture
Safety built into the record, not bolted on.
On this network, safety signals live where the journey lives. Structured risk assessments — with a level from low to critical, a rationale, and contributing factors — stay attached to the journey they describe. Passengers can confirm they are all right at defined moments, and the people responsible for a journey see what the record says.
Risk assessments
A level from low to critical, with clear reasoning — kept with the journey
Safety confirmations
Passengers confirm all right — or ask for help — on the record
Staff oversight
Platform staff see activity and can act while journeys move

02Emergency response
Escalation is deliberate, not improvised.
Emergencies on the network are structured events, not messages lost in a thread. A passenger, a ride owner, platform operations — or ORION — can raise one, and each event follows the same disciplined path: captured with context, tracked on a timeline, and managed to resolution by people.
03Human accountability
Every consequential action has a person behind it.
Authority on this network is defined by role and exercised on the record. Platform staff manage emergency events through recorded transitions. Ride owners plan and operate their own journeys. And ORION — the network’s intelligence layer — proposes, while people decide: consequential suggestions pass through two-stage human approval before anything happens.
Role-defined authority
What each person can do is defined by their role — and nothing more
Recorded transitions
Changes to an emergency event are themselves on the record
ORION waits for people
Two-stage human approval gates consequential operations
04Privacy & permissions
The right people see the right things — and only that.
Access on Orange Rides Network follows your role. Passengers reach their own journeys. Ride owners reach their own operation. Platform staff see only what oversight requires. Those boundaries are built into the platform itself — not a courtesy in the interface.
Private by design
People only have access to the journeys and information relevant to their role
Boundaries that hold
The same access rules apply to everyone — without exception
Public / private separation
The public website tells the story; it never touches journey data
05Auditability
Actions stay on the record.
Accountability only works if the record survives the moment. Emergency events keep their timelines and evidence. Risk assessments stay with the journeys they describe. Suggestion reviews and approvals are part of the record they belong to. When a question is asked later, the network can answer from its own record.
Designed to support safer operations.
Not a guarantee — a structure: structured signals, deliberate escalation, people accountable on the record. Bring your operation onto the network.
